I'm Anusha, a multi-media artist based in Bangalore. My love for outer space started as a child, though I never dreamt of becoming an artist. After completing my B.Arch. in 2018, I wanted to take a break to focus on my health, before stepping back into my career as an Architect, that’s when I stumbled upon some watercolor art and calligraphy that motivated me to give it a try which changed everything.

I started sharing my art online, just as a hobby and dabbled with a few mediums and subjects over a couple of years, until I found my passion for creating space inspired art, especially galaxies. I feel it’s a calming process that takes me closer to the universe that is beyond our planet and disconnects from everything around me. I also enjoy painting misty forestscapes, I think they represent peacefulness.

In 2020, with encouragement from my family, I started selling my art through my social media pages. I feel fortunate that my art is collected by clients globally and I also worked on a few awesome collaborations to make galaxy phone cases and more! Bright and bold colors make me happy and keep me inspired, that’s exactly what you’ll find in my work.
During the pandemic, I was offered to work full-time as a crafter/Instagram coordinator for a top Indian brand which helped me explore mediums like Resin, Alcohol inks, Stenciling, etc. that I love incorporating in my art.

I have a little home studio nestled outside the city, where I do all my work with my furry partners who enjoy giving me company all day. I am now a full-time artist and a small business owner.

I hope that through my art, I can share my love for outer space and inspire more people to look up and explore this incredibly beautiful cosmos.
